Healthy Foods to Help Cure Stress

We all have times when we've been stressed either due to working hard or life issues. When you feel threatened, your nervous system responds by releasing a flood of stress hormones, including adrenaline and cortisol, which rouse the body for emergency action.

Oats with Fruit Variety- Consider eating Oats a (stress-busting snack) that helps stabilize your mood as they mostly contain B vitamins. Also dding in lemon gives your body the acidic tartness it needs to help you wake up and start the day clear-headed.

Cashews-  These are packed with magnesium, zinc & typtophan that helps you chill out & also boost your immune system in times of stress. So make sure you grab a handful next time you feel like snapping a pencil in half :-)

Dark Chocolate- There's a reason you reach for a chocolate bar when you're facing a hard deadline or prepping for a big meeting. "Chocolate prompts the brain to release endorphins, or feel-good chemicals, and can lower blood pressure," Opt for snacks with 70 percent cocao or more, since higher cocoa content means more antioxidants and a bigger boost to your endorphin and serotonin levels.
